One of the orchestra blogs I admire has delved into the matter of Mozartian Myths, a subject which inevitably turns to the matter of Peter Shaffer's (and in this case Milos Forman's) Amadeus. New Rep concludes their season with a wonderful production of the TONY winning play Amadeus by Peter Shaffer, which inspired the film of the same name. The reading takes place at the Miners Foundry in Nevada City at 7:30 LETTICE AND LOVAGE is a delightful comedy by Peter Shaffer, author of Amadeus and Equus. There's not a lot of scenery in the N.C. Peter Shaffer's play (and later film) Amadeus has given many viewers the impression that Mozart was an immature, selfish brat who happened to possess great genius.
